Dentures require similar attention to oral hygiene as do natural teeth.They collect food particles, can become stained and accumulate plaque deposits which can lead to bad breath, oral infections and even ASPIRATION PNEUMONIA.
Advance Oral recommends removing dentures daily and cleaning with an Advance Oral denture brush or another quality dedicated brush using soap or denture paste.Soaking dentures in a specially designed denture bath using a good quality denture cleaner is also effective for removing light staining.
Some medications can also be responsible for bad breath and daily brushing of the gums with a soft brush is recommended.
